J. Kaye’s Book Blog is running a meme called, obviously, “It’s Monday! What are you reading?” It’s the first I’ve come across it, but am hoping it’s a weekly event to take part in.
I’m currently finishing up The Angel’s Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It is his follow-up to The Shadow of the Wind, though chronologically it is the prequel. I remember enjoying The Shadow of the Wind when I first read it – oddly enough I’m having a hard time seeing a relationship between the two books outside of the setting and a few recurring characters. I should have a full review up in the next few days.
I’ve been reading The Angel’s Game on my kindle, which happens more and more often now. I’ve also noticed a lot of blogs reviewing audio books (mine included); applying the same criteria to the audio as a cloth and paper copy. We’re all still buying books, but we get our reading fix from so many different forms of media now. Reading is no longer confined to books anymore. And while this isn’t a new trend, it’s growing faster than I think a lot of us anticipated. I thought it would be fun to put up a poll to see where everyone is at.
Please feel free to also leave a comment – I’d love to hear what everyone thinks!

You had a good week. Here is mine
I voted! Don’t forget to include a link with the meme. That way, others can find it and join in. 🙂 Glad to have you join…nice stack.
Thanks J. Kaye – I just fixed it to include the link!
If I didn’t cut and paste, I’d forget to do it as well. 😉 In fact, I spent most of this morning fixing a huge blunder on just this meme…what a busy time.
The Shadow of the Wind is on my TBR list. I really need to read that one of these days.
Have a great week!
